One at a time – a series of posts where I will examine a single image – today it’s Woman and Child.
Sunday evening, on my way back home from a shift, the light was glorious. So much so that I was compelled to get the backup kit out of the bag. That’s the thing with the CX format. Even a long lens by 35mm standards is quite compact and unobtrusive. I saw the shot and took it. The colour temperature and angle of the light give it a strange foreign feel. Or perhaps it’s the subject. Either way, it feels far from London Bridge station, where it was shot.
